Maia began as a "what if?": a faceted stone set between the post and a beaded eye shape, and a quiet idea that became the boldest piece of the collection. The eye shape is fully wrapped by hand, bead by bead, in clusters of Japanese Toho seed beads, a rich texture that plays against the shine of the stone. Striking, yet simple.
